PVS offers Free Estimates
on Camcorders
that includes up to 20 minutes of actual
diagnostic time. Battery issues, intermittent problems or problems
requiring advanced diagnostic or major disassembly may require a
modest charge. We will advise you before proceeding.
Most others who offer "Free Estimates" simply give out set prices on
repairs and rarely do any actual troubleshooting, a practice known
as 'flat-rating'. We charge only for the actual repair and
provide free estimates beforehand.
If for some reason
you decline our estimate or, we are unable to
repair your device due to Water, Corrosion, or parts that make it
beyond economical repair, we will require a $12.00 return
shipping/handling charge to ship your camcorder back to you.
How are we able meet or substantially beat our competitors and still
maintain an extremely high level of quality?
Quite simply, we are able to offer lower prices because we keep our
technician doing REPAIRS while our support staff does the paperwork,
parts ordering, and customer service that can take up many hours
of a technicians time each week.
Repair times will vary with most repairs
completed in
less than 2 weeks. Units that take multiple parts or units that have
backordered parts can take longer. Backordered parts are beyond our
control but we will try our best to keep you informed of the status
of your repair.
Most camcorder repair costs
range between $40-$150.00 depending upon parts. In some
rare instances, very expensive parts will increase this cost
especially in the case of water damaged or physically damaged units.
For a free estimate,
simply ship us your camcorder.
We do not need batteries or AC adapters unless you suspect a
problem with them. We are able to power and test your camcorder
with our external power source device.
